Marmion Mouse: tenui musam meditamur caseolus

History

Heap on more wood!

The mascots of my history page, the Marmion mice, come from a Christmas card I designed illustrating some lines by Walter Scott from his poem 'Marmion'. You can buy them in my on-line shop singly or in packs of five.

I'm researching a PhD in history at the University of Stirling, "The Episcopal Congregation of Charlotte Chapel 1792-1818". One outcome of this is a website resource at archive.stjohns-edinburgh.org.uk You can also find out who many of them were and where they came from by clicking on the markers on the map below:

You can download the slides (pdf, 572kb) and notes (pdf, 38kb) for an introduction to the project. If you're interested get in touch, eleanor@eleanormharris.co.uk
